Pakistan's fielding has often come under scrutiny for failing to match international standards. But it seems like the future is in safe hands as one of the ball boys in Rawalpindi stole the limelight after a great catch.

Pakistan had troubled day two in the 2nd Test as the hosts were restricted to 274 runs in the first innings. There weren't too many boundaries as only twenty were hit, which featured 15 fours and just five sixes.

Meanwhile, Abrar Ahmed, who came at no. 10, took the aerial route once in his innings when he hit Mehidy Hasan Miraj for a maximum. Unfortunately, the Pakistani batter couldn't steal the limelight as the ballboy who took the running catch became the talk of the town.

Even PCB took to their social media platform to share the clip of the shot and the stunning catch from the ball boy. Two kids went for the catch and escaped a collision.

Mehidy Hasan Shines With The Ball

Getting hit for a six by Abrar was not what Mehidy made it to the news for on day two, rather he was impressive with the ball and registered a five-wicket haul. The spinner registered the figures of 5/61 in 22.1 overs.

Even in the first Test against Pakistan, Mehidy Hasan was the architect behind Shan Masood-led side's collapse in the second innings as he took a four-wicket haul that restricted the hosts to just 146 runs.

Talking about the ongoing match, Mehidy took the crucial wickets of Shan Masood and Saim Ayub, who both had scored fifties and stitched a 107-run stand for the 2nd wicket. Other than them, the spinner trapped the tail-enders and ensured that Pakistan does not breach the 300-run mark.
