After incurring three crushing defeats, Pakistan will take on South Africa in a must-win World Cup encounter at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. While South Africa are comfortably placed second in the standings, Pakistan desperately need a victory to avoid a group-stage elimination.

However, unfortunately for Babar Azam and co, the weather could spoil their party today. As per the live visuals, it's raining heavily in some parts of Chennai and inclement weather could play a pivotal role in deciding the game's outcome.

The first four matches played at the venue witnessed uninterrupted action, as the Weather Gods stayed kind for the teams as well as spectators.

However, considering the morning showers, we can't rule out the possibility of a delayed start to the high-voltage face-off between Pakistan and South Africa.

Chennai Weather Forecast For Today
