Pakistan Test captain Shan Masood, currently playing for Hampshire, slammed the highest score in Global Super League’s history. Batting first, Masood scored 79 off 54 balls with 8 boundaries and 2 sixes to propel his team to a total of 146/6.
The Global Super League’s inaugural season kicked off last week at Providence Stadium in Guyana. For the 6th matchup, Hampshire locked horns against Guyana Amazon Warriors. Days after getting picked up by KKR in the IPL 2025 mega auction, all-rounder Moeen Ali flaunted his muscles in the Global Super League contest between Guyana Amazon Warriors and Victoria. He opened the innings for the Amazon Warriors and smashed 4 sixes to bring up 51 runs in just 33 balls.
His innings powered his team to a 162/6 total before Victoria bounced back to steal a 4 wickets victory. Regardless, Ali’s form will bring relief to KKR as they plan to utilise his all-around abilities in IPL 2025.
