Matt Henry is one of the safest fielders in the New Zealand side and on Saturday, he pulled off a never seen before catch against Sri Lanka in the 3rd ODI of the series. He showed his athleticism and took a blinder at the edge of the boundary ropes.
Sri Lanka opted to bat first on a flat track at the Eden Park in Auckland and the decision paid off as the openers gave a flying start and led the foundation for a big win. The openers added 69 runs for the opening wicket and lost the second wicket at 156 as the Lankan Lions were gunning towards a big total.

However, two wickets fell in quick successions as Charith Asalanka tried clearing the fence with his big hit, but perished for a duck in the process. Michael Bracewell took the wicket but the credit should be given to Henry as he pulled off a stunner. The Kiwi bowler tossed up a delivery on the off and Asalanka slogged it towards long-off.
The ball was travelling quickly as Matt Henry charged towards the ball and grabbed hold of it. However, he realised he was going over the ropes as he flipped the ball in the air and jumped back in to take the catch safely.
NZ eyeing clean sweep Vs SL
The Kiwis won the first two matches and have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series and will be gunning for a whitewash against an under-confident Sri Lankan side.
The visitors on a flat Eden Park deck are getting closer to the 300-run mark as they aim to salvage some pride after winning the match. The batters have led a strong foundation and the bowlers will have to deliver the goods against a strong New Zealand side.
