[Watch] Nathan Lyon Dismisses Dangerous Harry Brook in a 'Comical Fashion'

We have seen some comical dismissals in the history of cricket, but none more hilarious than what was witnessed in the ongoing first Ashes Test between England and Australia.

Harry Brook, who has had a tremendous start to his Test career, looked in fine touch against the Australian attack. But one lapse of concentration and an error of judgement costed him the wicket.

The incident occurred in the 38th over of the match, which was bowled by Nathan Lyon. The Aussie spinner delivered an off-break delivery, pitched on the middle and leg as it turned back into the right-hander. Brook offered no shot as the ball clipped the thigh pad and lobbed up in the air. The batter had no idea where the ball went as everyone lost sight of it.

The ball eventually came down and struck Brook's back leg and bounced onto the stumps. Interestingly, Brook didn't look up, nor did he try to knock it away with his legs or bat.

Till the time Brook was out there in the middle, he took the attack to the opposition and was batting at a strike-rate of 86.49.

Not only Brook, but the Aussies also got the big wicket of skipper Ben Stokes, who was dismissed for just 1.
