Ace Pakistani speedster Naseem Shah engaged in a heated exchange with South Africa's premier batter Temba Bavuma in the ongoing Tri-Series ODI between the two sides at the National Stadium in Karachi. Amid the dominating batting and bowling performances from both sides, the attention grabbed the limelight during the high-octane clash.

The incident occurred during the 25th over when Pakistan were desperately searching for a breakthrough to break the second-wicket stand between Temba Bavuma and Matthew Breetzke. After conceding consecutive singles off his first three balls, Naseem tried to push Bavuma on the back foot by surprising him with a well-targeted bouncer.

As the rising delivery came sharply towards Temba Bavuma, the Proteas captain calmly left it, allowing the ball to be collected by Mohammad Rizwan behind the stumps. However, with Pakistan not getting wickets despite valiant attempts, Naseem became aggressive, exchanging a few words with Bavuma.

Although the fast bowler was at his aggressive best, Bavuma kept his composure and responded with a gentle smile. Soon after the incident, Naseem concluded his over with another dot ball, asserting his dominance over the South African batter.

South Africa Get A Solid Foundation In Do-Or-Die Match

Regarding the game, South Africa won the toss and opted to bat first. Tony de Zorzi was the first man to be dismissed, with Shaheen Afridi getting his prized scalp for 22 runs. However, Temba Bavuma steadied the ship with Matthew Breetzke, forming a solid partnership for the second wicket. As of writing, the tourists were 165 for one, with Bavuma and Breetzke batting on 80* and 56*, respectively.
