Sumit Kumar replaced injured David Warner in the 32nd game of IPL 2024 between Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals and has made a big impact straightaway with a brilliant run-out. It was a big blow to GT who had already lost two wickets before Sai Sudharsan's one and were eventually reduced to 30-4 in five overs.

The run out of Sai Sudharsan came on the first delivery of the fifth over and it was Sai Sudharsan's brave call that led to his downfall. It was a length delivery on the middle stump line and Said worked it towards mid-wicket. 

He ran for a quick single but Sumit Kumar there was quick to grab the ball and then ran with the ball and dived full-length as he delivered a direct rocket under-arm throw towards the non-striker's end.

Sai Sudharsan made a valiant effort with a desperate dive but it was not enough as he felt just short of his crease.

Delhi Capitals have won only two games out of the six played so far and are in a desperate need to grab two crucial points in this game. GT, on the other hand, have won three and lost three, and it would be interesting how they react after losing four early wickets.
