In-form batter Rajat Patidar had a memorable outing in RCB's final group-stage IPL 2024 match against Chennai Super Kings as he struck a belligerent 23-ball 41 before getting out to a stunning catch from Daryl Mitchell. 

The incident occurred in the 18th over of RCB's innings when Patidar was going all guns blazing alongside Australian all-rounder Cameron Green. 

The Aussie batter schooled Shardul Thakur with two sixes before the Indian pacer bounced back by getting Patidar's prized breakthrough. 

However, the credit goes to Daryl Mitchell, who took a stunning catch at the long on fence to put an end to Patidar's knock.

It was a low full toss from Thakur as Patidar hammered it powerfully down the ground. However, he couldn't clear the fence, with Mitchell taking a magnificent juggling catch at the boundary. 

As the Kiwi all-rounder was near the ropes, he threw the ball in the air before re-claiming it in time inside the playing area. 

The wicket relieved MS Dhoni's wife Sakshi Singh, who was present in the stands to support the visiting team. 

Meanwhile, the hosts were on a rampage, placed at 201 for four in 18.5 overs, with Cameron Green unbeaten in the middle as of writing.
