Mohit Sharma has been in stellar wicket-taking form since the 2023 season and has been the go-to bowler for Gujarat Titans, especially at the death. Now, in the 37th match of IPL 2024, he displayed his magic in the Powerplay itself, and got the wicket of Prabhsimran Singh who was tonking the bowlers all over the park.

It was the third delivery of the sixth over and Mohit Sharma bowled a scrambled seam delivery, around off. 

Prabhsimran Singh danced down the track and threw his bat towards the ball, however, all he managed to do was to get an outside edge and the ball went quite quickly to the right of Saha behind the stumps. He did not miss the catch and a promising start from Prabhsimran Singh was again cut short.

After the wicket of Prabhsimran Singh, Punjab Kings lost two more wickets quickly and from 52-0, Punjab Kings were reduced to 67-3. Punjab's top order has struggled throughout the season, and once again against GT, they have faltered to put pressure on the middle order again.
