In another controversial umpiring decision, Virat Kohli was given out off Harshit Rana's delivery where the batter and captain Faf du Plessis were evidently unhappy about the decision not being a no-ball for the height.

The incident happened in the first ball of the third over when Royal Challengers Bengaluru were chasing 223 and Virat was batting on 18 in 6 balls and Rana bowled a full toss where Kohli's leading edge was caught by the bowler himself.

The batter expected it to be called a no ball, however, controversially, it was called a legal delivery and Virat had to make his way back to the pavilion. He looked unhappy and furious as he walked back and was seen explaining the dugout about the dip.

However, the fans on Twitter had different views. Some thought that it was an unlucky dismissal for the ex-captain while some felt it was a fair call.

Here are some of the reactions from netizens on Twitter:

In the chase of 223 runs, Royal Challengers Bengaluru started off well but lost their way in the middle overs. In the fagend of the chase, the RCB team lost too many wickets in a cluster. However, Karn Sharma took Mitchell Starc to the cleaners before a bullet throw from Ramandeep Singh denied them off a victory.
