Andre Russell has been a match-winner for KKR over the years not with his unbelievable power with willow in hand, but also with his crafty bowling under pressure. In the 36th game of IPL 2024 between KKR and RCB, Russell once again made a big difference by picking two big wickets of Will Jacks and Prabhsimran Singh in a single over.

It was the first ball of the 12th over and before that RCB were cruising with Patidar and Will Jacks going bonkers. Both were confident after their fifties, and in a bid to launch another one over the park, Will Jacks ended up lofting a fullish delivery to Angkrish Raghuvanshi. The young KKR player took the catch and in the same over, Rajat Patidar also miscued one badly to bring KKR right back in the game.

The momentum kept swinging from one end to another after those two wickets and Russell produced another momentum of brilliant in the penultimate over with a wicket of Dinesh Karthik.

Karn Sharma blasted three sixes in the final over to bring the equation down to three needed off 2 balls, but Starc and KKR kept their nerve and registered a thrilling 1-run victory.
