Mohammed Siraj did not have a great start in the World Cup 2023 for India. However, the right-arm-quick roared back in style since the Men in Blue’s previous fixture against Sri Lanka, and he kept on doing wonders on Sunday (November 5) during India’s high-octane match against South Africa at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

Following the dismissal of in-form Quinton de Kock, Siraj did the ‘siuu’ celebration, which has become a regular post-goal ritual for Cristiano Ronaldo over the years.

De Kock has been in magnificent form in the World Cup 2023, having aggregated 550 runs in the ongoing edition already. Chasing 327, the South African opener was on a mission to play another significant knock against India, which he usually does against this opposition. However, it did not happen in reality, as Siraj got the big fish early.

It was a length delivery by Siraj, which was angling across de Kock. The South African opener tried to drive it through the covers, only to see the ball drag on into the middle stump.
