Virat Kohli turned 35 on November 5, and the cricketer celebrated the occasion by unfurling yet another batting masterclass at the 2023 World Cup. The legendary batsman took South Africa to cleaners, notched up his 49th century in ODIs, as Team India amassed a competitive score in their innings upfront.
As one can expect, Kohli received adulations from across the cricketing spectrum, both for his birthday and for his innings. Moreover, even the International Cricket Council (ICC) released a remarkable tribute to commemorate the occasion, as they posted a video celebrating the storied career of the batting legend.

Modern-day batting legend Virat Kohli received a thriving birthday tribute from none other than the ICC. The apex body released an epic tribute, ranging over two minutes, featuring the narration from renowned West Indies commentator Ian Bishop.
The video chronicled Virat Kohli’s journey to international glory, reminiscing his Under-19 days as well as displaying footage of some of his most iconic batting efforts for Team India across ICC events (World Cup, Champions Trophy and T20 World Cup matches).
Virat Kohli, meanwhile, has emerged as one of the pillars of Team India’s unbeaten run in the ongoing 2023 World Cup so far. The cricketer notched up match-winning run-chase spectacles against Australia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and New Zealand, before pounding Sri Lanka and South Africa in successive innings while batting upfront.
