New Zealand have powered themselves to a commanding position in the ongoing World Cup clash against the Netherlands in Hyderabad. After posting a daunting 322-run total, the BlackCaps got off to a flying start with the ball, as Matt Henry castled Dutch opener Vikramjit Singh with a beautiful delivery.

Chasing a mammoth 323-run target, the Netherlands got off to a slow start, as Vikramjit Singh and Max O'Dowd adopted a cautious approach against the lethal new-ball pair of Trent Boult and Matt Henry.

However, Singh had no answer to a certain nip-backer from Henry, as the ball uprooted his middle stump.

Coming around the stumps, Henry bowled a length delivery, which came back into Singh, breaching his defence and hitting the middle stump. The dream delivery from Henry prevented the batter from playing an impactful knock despite being dropped earlier at first slip.

Singh, who struck a fighting fifty against Pakistan, thus failed to make an impact, being dismissed for a 20-ball 12. After his departure, all-rounder Colin Ackermann joined O'Dowd in the middle to steady the ship for the Dutch side.

As of writing, the Netherlands are 34 for one in 9.4 overs, with O'Dowd and Ackermann batting on 10* and 12*, respectively.
