In Match No.37 of the ongoing ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, Nepal won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat first at the  Arnos Vale Stadium in St. Vincent. 

Bangladesh had a horrendous start against Nepal bowlers, as they had lost the early wicket of opener Tanzid Hasan for a golden duck from then on the batters were not able to build any momentum and the wickets kept on falling. 

The situation deteriorated further for Bangladesh when they lost the wicket of Litton Das in the 4th over. 

Sompal Kami, already on fire, struck again to remove the other opener, Litton Das. Bowled over the wicket, Kami delivered a back-of-a-length ball just outside the off-stump. 

Litton stayed inside the crease and attempted a cross-batted shot across the line but ended up with a thick top edge. The ball ballooned into the air, and the wicketkeeper called for it and took a straightforward catch behind the stumps.

Litton Das departed and played a senseless shot that increased the problem for Bangladesh. At the time of writing, the Bangla Tigers are struggling and have lost consecutive wickets with 61/6 in 11.3 overs.
