Riding on bowlers' exceptional performance, Pakistan are in a commanding position in their seventh World Cup match against Bangladesh in Kolkata. Bowling first, Babar Azam's men have restricted Bangladesh to 102 for four, thanks to an incredible outing by their bowlers.

After opting to bat first on a dry surface, Bangladesh had a disastrous start to their innings, as Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf scalped three quick wickets. However, the experienced duo of Mahmudullah and Litton Das steadied the ship for the Tigers, stitching a crucial stand of 79 runs for the fourth wicket.

But, unfortunately for Bangladesh, Pakistan's man with a golden arm, Iftikhar Ahmed, struck against the run of play, dismissing Litton just five runs short of a well-deserved half century.

It was a short-of-length delivery, which Litton chipped in the air of his back foot. Agha Salman, stationed at midwicket, did no mistake, holding on to a straight forward catch.

Upon getting out, Litton looked frustrated with his dismissal, as he waited for quite a while before making a long walk back to the dugout.

As of writing, Bangladesh are 107 for four in 23.2 overs, with Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah batting on 1* and 48*, respectively.
