Litton Das failed to live up to his lofty standards in the ongoing World Cup in India. His failures played a pivotal role in Bangladesh’s early elimination from the competition’s semi-final contentions.

However, the stylish opener began really well in Sri Lanka, although it did not last long as he fell to a toe-crushing yorker to in-form Dilshan Madushanka after scoring 23 off 22 balls.

In Litton’s brisk stay, the one shot that attracted a lot of attention was six down the ground against Kasun Rajitha. To make it look more interesting, the follow up happened, as Litton seemed in pain immediately after slamming it down the ground.

After smashing for a six in the sixth over of Bangladesh’s innings, Litton kept on attacking Rajitha as he came down the track before sending the ball straight to the sight-screen. The shot was so pleasing to the eyes, but Litton was in incredible pain after hitting it.

The Bangladesh physio came out straightaway to check whether Litton was alright. He was ready to be back in action, but failed cheaply after the short interval.
