Litton Das is one of the most celebrated cricketers in Bangladesh and one of their most prominent batters. The man is a treat to watch when he gets going, but consistency has been a big issue for Litton, over the years and in Bangladesh's opening game of World Cup 2023, he has once again failed to live upto the expectations.

In the third match of the World Cup 2023 between Bangladesh and Afghanistan, Bangla Tigers bowled brilliantly and bundled out Afghans for just 156. Bangladesh were expected to notch up the chase easily, but they have found themselves in early trouble, as they were reduced to 27-2. The second of those wickets was of Litton Das who departed on 13 off 18 balls.

How did Litton Das got out?

Fazalhaq Farooqi, the Afghan pacer bowled a bit short of good length delivery, around off. The ball was angled across the right-hander and Litton Das who took some steps forward, tried to push it away towards the off side. However, the ball caught the inside edge of his blade and knocked over the leg pole, bringing immense joy in the Afghan camp.

At the time of writing, Bangladesh are 40-2 in the 10th over and have Miraz and Shanto at the crease.
