Haris Rauf, one of the most fearsome bowlers in world cricket is turning on the heat in Pakistan's opening game of World Cup 2023 against Netherlands. He is bowling with great fire and aggression and brought back his team with two wickets in a single over, with wickets of Teja Nidamanuru and skipper Scott Edwards. It was Haris Rauf at his best as Netherlands batters were kept on their toes with some real fire from the Pakistani pacer.

How Haris Rauf got two wickets in a single over?

The first wicket was of Teja, who was tempted to go for a big pull shot from Haris Rauf, as he banged it short, on the off stump line. Teja Nidamanuru being an aggressive batter went for the pull shot but he failed to get the middle of his blade and the desired distance as Fakhar Zaman at deep square leg took an easy catch.

The second wicket was of the Dutch skipper, Scott Edwards. It was a pacy delivery at 148.8 Kph, pitched on good length and nipped back in sharply to hit Edwards on his pad. The pace proved too hot to handle as Edwards could not get his bat down in time and after a loud appeal from Pakistani players, the umpire raised his finger. Edwards took the DRS but it did not help his cause and Netherlands were reduced to 133-5.

At the time of writing, Netherlands are 152-5 at the end of 31 overs and need someone to support Bas de Leede who is batting brilliantly on 62 off 61 balls.
