Kuldeep Yadav has always been rated very highly in world cricket for his genuine wicket-taking abilities and  started off his career with a bang as well but then had a brief off period where he lost his place in the Indian side. There were people who doubted his abilities and it seemed that the career that promised so much at the start, will fade out in silence. However, he made a strong comeback, a year ago, and is now India's premier spinner in World Cup 2023. He has lived up to the billing so far and has got rid of well-set David Warner with a classical loopy delivery, bringing a much-needed respite to the Indian camp.

India and Australia are going head-to-head at Chepauk in the opening game of the 2023 World Cup 2023 for both the sides. Australia decided to bat first on a pitch that is quite dry, looking to post a big total in the first innings. Bumrah though sent back Mitchell March for a duck, but Warner and Smith got together and started building a strong partnership. However, just when Australia were threatening to dominate the game, Kuldeep delivered for India and sent back Warner for 41.

Talking about the delivery that got rid of Warner, it was a nicely tossed up delivery on off and Warner got beaten in the flight as he played his drive a bit early. The ball went off the inside half of his blade straight to Kuldeep Yadav and the left-arm spinner did well to hold onto a nervy catch.
