Ace Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav crashed Jonny Bairstow's 100th Test party twice in three days by outfoxing the Englishman with some sharp turn in Dharamshala.

After Bairstow raced to a rapid 39* from just 31 balls, he was struck on his back pad by a turning Kuldeep delivery on Day 3, as England slipped to 92-4 in their second innings.

Tasked with bowling the 18th over of the second England innings on Day 3, Kuldeep Yadav made an instant impact by trapping well-set Jonny Bairstow in front of the stumps with a sharp turning delivery.

Remarkably, Kuldeep had also accounted for Bairstow on the opening day of the Dharamshala Test, thus making England's 100-Test player one of his five victims of the innings.

Batting at number five, Jonny Bairstow had arrived at the crease following the sudden downfalls of both England openers and number three Ollie Pope at 36-3.

Forming forces with former captain Joe Root when England faced an uphill task of avoiding an innings defeat, Bairstow struck three belligerent boundaries and as many sixes to race to a rapid 39.

However, he failed to capitalise on his start for the second time in the match by falling victim to Kuldeep Yadav's spin dexterity on both occasions.

Earlier in the match, Team India ended up tallying 477 in their first innings to gain a massive 249-run first-innings advantage over the visitors.
