Kuldeep Sen had an impressive season back in 2022 for RR, but was laid low by injuries in the following season. He did not get a game initially in the 2024 season, but is making his mark against GT, in the 24th match of the season, with crucial wickets to dent GT in the 197-run chase.

Gujarat Titans won the toss and decided to bowl first after winning the toss. RR lost two wickets in the Powerplay, but Riyan Parag and Sanju Samson stepped up and the duo powered home team to a massive total of 196. In reply, GT failed to up the ante in the run-chase and Kuldeep Sen with his brilliant three-wicket haul dented GT's progress.

Kuldeep Sen first got the important wicket of Sai Sudharsan and then delivered a deadly blow with two wickets in a single over after a short rain break. Both of them were bowled, the first one to go was Wade who chopped on a shortish delivery onto his stumps. Abhinav Manohar then was cleaned up by absolute beauty as Sen came up with finger on lips celebration on both occasions.
