There have been continuous questions about Virat Kohli's availability in the T20 World Cup. There are many reports, that the Indian stalwart, will be part of the upcoming T20 World Cup that will take place in June in the USA and West Indies. 

Virat Kohli has been in pure dominance in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) and this season belongs to him. The star batter has scored his first century for this season against Rajasthan Royals and this is his 8th century the most by any batter.

Ajit Agarkar, chairman of the BCCI selection committee, spoke to Spotify with the PRG podcast and expressed his opinion that Virat Kohli. He said that Virat Kohli's stunning form had set the benchmark for the upcoming generation of Indian cricket. 

He also credited the Royal Challengers Bengaluru batter for his extraordinary fitness and remarkable 15 years of playing cricket for India. 

"Virat Kohli sets the benchmark for this generation. What he has done over 15 years is amazing and he's only gotten fitter and you can see the results" said Ajit Agarkar. 

There are mixed comments regarding Virat Kohli's availability and many veteran cricketers have raised their concerns about his slow strike-rate and many cricketers have mentioned that the Indian Team is incomplete without the presence and experience of Virat Kohli. 

Virat Kohli is currently the proud holder of the orange cap and has scored 316 runs in 5 matches he will next be seen playing for RCB in the fixture against Mumbai Indians on April 11, 2024.
