In a thrilling encounter between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, the game took an exciting turn as pacer Kuldeep Sen announced his arrival with a crucial wicket in the 9th over of the match.

GT’s top-order batsman, Sai Sudharsan, who had contributed 35 runs, fell victim to Sen's 147 kmph delivery, setting the stage for an intense battle between bat and ball.

The dismissal came through a well-executed review initiated by RR captain Sanju Samson. Sen's delivery, a full-length one on the off and middle stump line, induced Sudharsan to attempt a fancy scoop shot, only to miss and be struck on the back pad.

Despite the initial dismissal appeal being turned down by the umpire, Sanju Samson’s astute decision to review proved fruitful as the Ultra-Edge confirmed no contact with the bat and the ball tracking displayed three reds, signaling a clear lbw dismissal.

Sen's wicket of Sai Sudharsan not only provided an early breakthrough for RR but also showcased his bowling prowess in his first game of the IPL season.

However, the dismissal also raised questions about the umpiring decision, with criticism directed towards Kumar Dharmasena for not giving what seemed like a clear lbw.

As Sudharsan trudged back to the pavilion, GT found themselves facing a challenging task, needing 120 runs off 60 balls to secure victory.
