Riyan Parag has been in stellar form in IPL 2024 and just looks unstoppable with his simple and clear approach to batting. In the 24th match of IPL 2024, he was once again delivered for his side with a brilliant fifty, putting his team RR right in control. However, he was dropped in the 8th over, when he was batting on just 6 and that proved costly for GT.

It was the 5th ball of the 8th over and Rashid Khan tossed it up, outside off. Riyan Parag leaned forward to defend it, but the ball caught the outside edge of his blade and went just to Wade behind the stumps, who just ended up stopping it with his right leg.

It clearly brought frustration on the face of Rashid Khan and Shubman Gill, and Wade who is playing his first game of the season was clearly caught off-guarded. Earlier, Rashid got the big wicket of Buttler in the last over of the Powerplay, while Umesh Yadav provided the first breakthrough with wicket of Yashasvi Jaiswal. 

The match was delayed by 10 minutes due to some rain before the game, but the weather looks clear for the rest of the game, and RR clearly are ahead in the game with Samson teaming up with Riyan Parag in a show of batting masterclass.
