Cameron Green and Virat Kohli shared a delightful moment during the Royal Challengers Bengaluru versus Kolkata Knight Riders match at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Kohli, displaying his exceptional form, earned the Orange Cap for being the leading run-scorer in IPL 2024, having scored two consecutive half-centuries.

During the drinks break after first innings, Green, in a light-hearted gesture, presented Virat Kohli with the Orange Cap. However, the amusement escalated when Green unexpectedly handed Kohli the microphone as well, prompting laughter from the commentators, notably Ian Bishop. The playful exchange added a charming touch to the event as then Kohli threw the mic towards Green then telling him to come towards the camera, showcasing the camaraderie between the players.

Kohli's stellar performances in the tournament so far have been commendable. Beginning with a solid 21-run knock against Chennai Super Kings, he followed it up with an impressive 77 off 49 balls against Punjab Kings, and then an unbeaten 83 against Kolkata Knight Riders. His consistency and dominance with the bat have been instrumental in Royal Challengers Bengaluru's campaign.

Reflecting on the team's performance, Green expressed satisfaction with the competitive total posted against Kolkata Knight Riders. 

He also shared his preference for batting at number three, highlighting the freedom it offers during the powerplay overs. Green's admiration for Kohli's batting prowess further underscored the mutual respect and admiration within the team.
