Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) versus Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) match at Chinnaswamy Stadium, cricket fans witnessed a surprising sight – Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir embracing each other during a strategic timeout. 

The unexpected display of camaraderie between the two former adversaries left spectators in awe. In a surprising turn of events, Kohli, as RCB former skipper, embraced Gambhir, now KKR mentor, during the second timeout after the 16th over.

The gesture, accompanied by exchanged pleasantries, brought smiles to all. This reconciliatory hug, captured on video, quickly went viral, marking a significant shift from their heated altercation during IPL 2023, following the LSG vs. RCB game.

Known for their competitive spirits and occasionally fiery on-field exchanges, Kohli and Gambhir haven't always seen eye to eye. Their relationship hit a low point during a heated altercation at the Ekana Stadium last year during their IPL 2023 match. 

Gambhir was associated with Lucknow Super Giants at the time. Earlier that day, during the RCB innings' powerplay, Kohli's laughter upon seeing Gambhir on the big screen hinted at the thawing of tensions between the two cricketing giants. However, their recent gesture of mutual respect and reconciliation has turned heads and warmed hearts.
