Phil Salt's stint with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) has been a mix of promise and challenge. Stepping into the shoes of Jason Roy, Salt brought his own brand of firepower to the team's batting lineup. 

However, his departure in the 10th match against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru left fans reflecting on his impact. Facing off against a determined RCB led by Faf du Plessis, Salt managed to muster 30 runs before being sent off in the 8th over. 

Vyshak Vijaykumar's delivery proved to be his undoing, as Salt's attempted pickup pull found Cameron Green stationed perfectly at deep square leg.
