When we talk about vicious, hard-hitting all-rounders, there are only a few who can be as lethal as Andre Russell and Cameron Green. The duo were face-to-face on Friday evening when RCB took on KKR at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, and it was the West Indies all-rounder who had the last laugh.

After putting RCB into bat first, KKR took the big wicket of Faf du Plessis inside the first two overs of the hosts’ innings. Then Glenn Maxwell and Virat Kohli steadied the ship, scoring 65 runs for the second wicket at a quick rate before Shreyas Iyer introduced Andre Russell and got the much-needed wicket.

It was a full delivery by Russell, angling towards the leg side, which Green, batting on 33 off 21 balls, tried to flick. The ball went through the gate after hitting Australia's all-rounder’s pad, rattling the stumps to make Green look embarrassed.

Green slammed as many as two sixes and four fours in a quickfire knock, and hence, it was an important wicket for KKR’s perspective at that point.

Meanwhile, RCB are 110/2 after 13.1 overs at the time of writing, with Virat Kohli batting on 53*, whereas Glenn Maxwell, who got a priceless lifeline by Ramandeep Singh, is batting on 15*.
