Travis Head against India is one of the greatest cricketing love stories and he continued to torment India in the ongoing Perth Test match. The explosive southpaw was dismissed cheaply in the first innings, but he came back to haunt the visitors in the mammoth chase.

Australia lost 4 quick wickets, chasing 534, and they needed a miracle to keep their alive in the contest, and that was provided by the ever-reliant Travis Head. The number 5 batter started with his usual aggressive knock as he gave a big headache to the Indian bowlers.

In the blink of an eye, the scorecard moved from 31/4 to 100/4 as runs started coming quickly. The power-packed batter found an able ally in Mitchell Marsh, as after the dismissal of Steve Smith, the duo started with their aggressive game and gave a mini heart-attack to the Indian camp.

Head was closing in on a scintillating century and India needed a saviour and captain Jasprit Bumrah once again came to the rescue as he bowled a magical ball to end Head's knock at 89. Bumrah bowled a length ball as it cramped Head for room and he got an outside-edge which was safely taken by Rishabh Pant.

India close in on victory as Marsh fights it out

Australia are already 6 down and the last hope for them, Mitch Marsh and Alex Carey are out in the middle. The team still needs 366 more runs to win as t he task looks more and more difficult after Head's dismissal.

With the pitch not doing much, Marsh has also come out with an aggressive mindset as he is leaving no opportunity to take down the Indian attack, as he gets closer to the fifty-run mark. India will look to seal the deal with Marsh's wicket as they eye a 1-0 lead in the series.
