KL Rahul is one of the most classy batters in world cricket and whenever he gets going, he is a treat to watch. However, he has been guilty of batting with low strike rates quite often in recent times and that has surely affected his place in the Indian T20I side.
However, against PBKS in the 11th match of IPL 2024, he did show some intent and slammed a six and a four before departing on 15 off 9 balls.
His six though was a gorgeous straight six that left everyone at the Ekana Stadium mesmerized. It was a full delivery on the off stump line from Arshdeep Singh. KL Rahul just leaned forward and played a lofted straight drive that went straight over the bowler's head for a maximum.

The six came on the very first ball, but Arshdeep Singh got his revenge on the fifth ball which was a much-needed breakthrough for Punjab Kings. Also, KL Rahul will only bat in this game and not field in the second half as Nicholas Pooran earlier came out for toss, mentioning that they want to ease KL Rahul into the tournament with injury always around the wicketkeeper batter.
