[Watch] Kieron Pollard Teases DJ Bravo With 'Flying' Gesture After MINY Defeats TSK in MLC Challenger

Riding on an exceptional bowling performance from Trent Boult and scintillating knocks from Dewald Brevis and Tim David, MI New York crushed Texas Super Kings by six wickets in the MLC Challenger to seal their spot in the final. Bowling first, MI New York restricted the Super Kings to a modest 158 and chased it successfully with an over to spare.

After the game concluded, MINY skipper Kieron Pollard teased TSK's DJ Bravo with the trademark 'flying' gesture, setting social media on fire.

Notably, Bravo gave a similar send-off to Pollard after dismissing him in the 2012 eliminator, where CSK pipped MI to finish as the runners-up. So, it's fair to say that Pollard restored parity, albeit in a friendly manner, after his side thumped Bravo's in the all-important clash.

Despite being fierce on-field rivals, Pollard and Bravo share a sweet friendly bond off the field. Both players have been absolute legends, especially in the shortest format. After retiring from international cricket, they are active in T20 leagues, excluding the Indian Premier League, where they have taken up coaching roles for Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.

Talking about the inaugural Major League Cricket, MI New York and Seattle Orcas will take on each other in the final on July 31 at Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas.
