The North Delhi Strikers and the Purani Dilli-6 face off against each other in the 11th match of the DPL 2024 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. The Purali Dilli won the toss in the match and invited the Strikers to bat bat first. 

Sarthan Ranjan played the key role for the North Delhi in the batting as he played a brilliant knock of 56 from 40 deliveries. While Ranjan set the foundation for the innings, it was Pranav Rajvanshi's knock of 41 from 35 that propelled the team towards a competitive total. The Strikers posted 130/7 at the end of their 18 overs (rain shortened game). 

The Purani Dilli-6 did not have a great start to the chase. They lost Arnav Bugga early and Arpit Rana also did not last long. However, after this Keshav Dalal and Lalit Yadav stitched together a partnership of 79 runs and took the team to the doorsteps of the win.

Keshav Dalal got off the mark with a stylish shot on the third delivery of the third over. It was a fullish delivery outside the off stump by Yastish Singh. Dalal spotted the length early and climbed on it to go inside out over covers maximum. The poise, elegance and execution of the shot reminded the spectators of Virat Kohli, who is known for the inside-out shot to the spinners. 

Dalal was dismissed in the 13th over, after he scored a match-winning 59 off 36. After his fall, Lalit Yadav stayed in the crease (44 off 31) and ensured that Purani Dilli won the game by six wickets with 22 balls remaining in the game.
