[Watch] Kemar Roach & Uncanny Fielding Tactic Get Mitchell Marsh's Wicket With A Perfect Ploy

Australia's all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has been their man of crisis lately, dishing out crucial match-winning runs starting from the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 to the Test series against Pakistan.

However, West Indies, who are currently engaged in a two-Test series Down Under, found an uncanny way to negate Marsh's value in the middle. During the ongoing first Test, the Windies outsmarted the batter on Day 2 in Adelaide and dismissed the in-form Marsh cheaply.

Having reduced Australia to 113 for 4, Marsh came in the middle and instantly found himself playing and missing a lot, which prompted skipper Kraigg Brathwaite to push the third slip fine and closer to the batter.

The ploy induced immediate result as Marsh ended up edging one off Kemar Roach straight into the hands of the third slip Justin Greaves, after surviving a close call earlier, where the ball just dropped inches in front of the fielder.

Marsh looked fidgety and unsure during his 26-ball stay, which had one solitary boundary. Meanwhile, Australia have managed to take a lead over West Indies, who scored 188 on Day 1 of the Adelaide Test. For Australia, Travis Head slammed his seventh Test hundred, leading the charge from the front.

Before Head's charge, West Indies were all over Australia, with debutant Shamar Joseph claiming a five-wicket haul in his debut Test match. However, the Aussies are swiftly ahead in the Test match, with WI five down inside 15 overs in their second innings.
