Australia lately has been a happy hunting ground for players who have been making their Test debut, first Pakistan's bowling duo of Aamer Jamal and Khurram Shahzad, and now West Indies's young speedster Shamar Joseph

In the first Test of the ongoing two-Test series between hosts Australia and West Indies, Joseph, 24, produced a riveting spell on Day 2 in Adelaide claiming his maiden five-wicket haul on his red-ball debut.

Adding to his overnight tally of one wicket, where Joseph outclassed Steve Smith, got rid of Marnus Labuschange first for 10 off quite a loose delivery.

However, Joseph's third wicket was in the form of Cameron Green off an absolutely unplayable ball, that found the outside edge. In the second session with Australia looking to take the game away, Joseph with a pin-point bouncer had Mitchell Starc caught at short-leg, picking his fourth victim.

Joseph's milestone wicket came in the form of Nathan Lyon just after the post-tea session began, who got his stumps rattled by an in-swinging delivery, which helped the bowler pick a well-deserved fifer., which also announced the end of Australia's first innings, who got bundled out of 24, taking a 95-run lead.

Interestingly, the ongoing Test is the 24-year-old's sixth First-Class (FC) appearance, having only started playing red-ball cricket last year. In 5 FC matches, Joseph had claimed just 21 wickets.
