Sam Curran failed to make any impact with the bat while taking the field on Saturday during Punjab Kings' IPL 2024 clash against Rajasthan Royals in Mullanpur. 

The star England all-rounder, who came as their captain in Shikhar Dhawan's absence, could only six off 10 balls before Keshav Maharaj sent him packing, courtesy of an excellent catch near boundary line by Dhruv Jurel.

While batting during the 10th over of PBKS’ innings, Keshav Maharaj, who took his first-ever IPL wicket earlier by dismissing Jonny Bairstow earlier, bowled a short delivery outside the off stump. Curran tried to pull it, but a mistimed hit could only take the ball straight to deep mid-wicket.
