Prabhsimran Singh is a very highly rated young batter and has scored runs on consistent basis in domestic cricket. However, he is not translating his talent into performances in IPL 2024 and in the 27th game of the season between RR and PBKS, he departed on just 10.
The right-handed batter could not get going throughout his innings and in a bid to break the shackles lost his wicket eventually. It was the third delivery of the 7th over and Chahal tossed it up on the middle stump line. The PBKS batter danced down the track and went for big hoick. The timing was not there though and he ended up hitting it towards Dhruv Jurel at deep mid-wicket.

Earlier, Atharva Taide who replaced Shikhar Dhawan also could not make any impact and Rajasthan Royals have been brilliant with the ball. They reduced Punjab Kings to 47-3 after Bairstow played another forgettable knock of 15 from 19 balls.
Sam Curran is leading Punjab Kings in this game with Shikhar Dhawan injured and now need the Englishman to deliver against a RR team that has played some good cricket this season.
