The 6th match of The Hundred 2024 between Welsh Fire And Oval Invincibles saw the later scoring 113 in the first innings. The match is being played at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff and the home team bowled pretty well with Jake Ball picking three wickets and Willey along with Payne grabbing two wickets apiece.

Jonny Bairstow was behind the stumps and he seemed pretty excited with the way his bowlers were bowling and one of those cry was caught on the stump mic. It was the 79th ball of the innings and Crane tossed it up nicely outside off. Donovan Ferreira hoicks it off the inside half of his blade to deep mid-wicket and a single was taken, but the ball strangely excited Bairstow who came up with a cry 'Oh my goodness me.'

Just two balls before, Oval had lost Sam Curran so Welsh were on top, and that probably incited Bairstow to cheer up his bowler even more.

Both teams have won one game each, and Welsh Fire at the halfway mark of this game look in a position to make it two in two, unless Oval Invincibles bowlers pull off a special bowling performance.
