Delhi Capitals' Australia-based left-arm spinner Jess Jonassen struck twice in the space of four deliveries against Gujarat Giants in match number 10 of the ongoing WPL 2024 season.

Tasked to bowl within the opening power play by her captain Meg Lanning, Jonassen managed to get rid of well-set batters Beth Mooney and Phoebe Litchfield as Gujarat Giants slumped to 34-3 during their 164-run task in Bengaluru.

Jess Jonassen, playing just her second match of the WPL 2024 season, made an instant impact with the ball for Delhi Capitals in their crucial league fixture against Gujarat Giants in Bengaluru.

Jonassen seized early advantage for her side by removing Gujarat Giants skipper and opening batter Beth Mooney before accounting for Phoebe Litchfield a couple of deliveries later in the same over.

She trapped Mooney plumb in front of stumps and deceived Litchfield with a little more air outside the off stump.
