The ongoing clash between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) is taking unpresidented twists and turns. Thanks to KKR batters' gung-ho show, they went past Royal Challengers Bengaluru's (RCB) record of 263 runs, and were on road to break Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)'s IPL record; but Ishant Sharma's last over ruined Kolkata's plans in Vizag. 

With 14 runs needed off the last over to break SRH's record of the highest score in the IPL, Ishant Sharma had Andre Russell against him. However, the Indian experienced seamer succeeded against the destructive finisher in some style.

Sharma bowled one of the greatest yorkers bowled in the season, resulting in Russell getting floored and breaking his furniture. Even the Jamaican superstar applauded Ishant Sharma's mastery.

Earlier in the innings, DC bowlers got assaulted by Sunil Narine, who smashed his highest IPL score, and Angkrish Raghuvanshi laid the platform for KKR's highest-ever score.

In the death overs, Russell and Rinku Singh muscled the Delhi team, ending their innings at 272/7 - which is the second-highest in the IPL highest.
