On Saturday, India Champions defeated their Pakistani counterparts in a high-voltage final to win the World Championship of Legends in the United Kingdom. 

Batting first, Pakistan Champions posted a respectable 156-run total on the board before Ambati Rayudu's scintillating half-century and valuable knocks from Gurkeerat Singh Mann and Yusuf Pathan powered India to an emphatic triumph. 

Former cricketer Irfan Pathan also contributed handily to India's famous victory. Irfan, who castled Younis Khan with a peach, also scored the winning runs for his side during the run chase.

Chasing 157, India Champions were comfortably placed at 155 for five, needing two runs to win in the final over. Sohail Tanvir started the last over with a loose half-volley, as Irfan Pathan dispatched it straight over his head for a boundary. 

The glorious boundary off the explosive southpaw's bat helped India gun down the total and clinch the coveted title. 

Earlier, batting first, Pakistan Champions posted 156 runs in 20 overs, riding on crucial knocks from Shoaib Malik, Shoaib Malik and Sohaib Maqsood. 

Despite being expensive, Anureet Singh was India's most successful bowler, scalping three wickets for 43 runs.
