Former Indian opener Robin Uthappa showcased his exceptional hitting during India Champions' semifinal clash against their Australian counterparts in the ongoing World Championship of Legends.

After winning the toss, Australia Champions' captain Brett Lee invited the Indians to bat first. However, his decision backfired on the Aussies, with the Indian batters making the most of the batting-friendly conditions of the Northampton County Ground.

Opener Robin Uthappa began the onslaught as he took on Lee from the word go. Uthappa, the Karnataka batter and multiple IPL title holder played his trademark on-the-up shots to delight Indian fans.

He hammered 65 runs off just 35 deliveries with the help of six fours and four glorious maximums.

His innings provided the much-needed impetus to the Indian innings before breezy fifties from Yuvraj Singh and the Pathan brothers powered the Men in Blue to a gigantic 254-run total.
