The second day of the India vs. England Test match in Visakhapatnam witnessed a remarkable display of skill and determination from Yashasvi Jaiswal, culminating in a memorable double century. However, amidst the celebration of his stellar innings, there came a pivotal moment that shifted the momentum of the game.

With the scoreboard reflecting a formidable 209 runs beside his name, Yashasvi Jaiswal's wicket fell to the veteran English bowler James Anderson. In a bid to accelerate the scoring rate, Jaiswal attempted to take on Anderson's delivery, opting to loft it over the covers. However, the execution didn't match the intent, resulting in a mistimed shot that found its way into the hands of Jonny Bairstow in the deep.

As Jaiswal departed, there was a palpable mix of disappointment and admiration in the air. The young batsman had showcased immense maturity and composure throughout his innings, anchoring the Indian innings with grace and elegance. Despite the disappointment of falling short of a larger total, Jaiswal's contribution had already left an indelible mark on the match.

Walking back to the pavilion amidst a standing ovation from his teammates, Jaiswal could take solace in the fact that his knock had laid a solid foundation for India's innings.

At the time of writing, Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah are taking charge at the crease with a total of 391/8.
