In the recently concluded first ODI between India women and West Indies women at the Reliance Stadium Vadodara, the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side have got off to the perfect start. The Women in Blue beat West Indies by 211 runs to register a massive win.

India, batting first, put 314/9 on the board, courtesy of a knock from Smriti Mandhana, who went onto script several records post her 91-runs innings. In reply, West Indies got off to the worst possible start as the visitors lost a wicket on the first ball of the run-chase.

Qiana Joseph fell short of her ground and was run out on the first ball of the 2nd innings. It was followed by a Renuka Singh show as she got rid of dangerous Hayley Mathews and then rattled Gujarat Giants' new 1.70 crore buy Deandra Dottin's stumps. Watch the wickets here.

Renuka Singh Claims Her Maiden Five-Wicket Haul

It was dream match for Renuka as she registered her maiden five-wicket haul. Renuka took the crucial scalps of Dottin, Mathews, Campbhelle, Alleyne, and Gajnabi. She registered the figures of 5/29 in her 10 overs to help India register a comfortable 211 runs win. 

Renuka was scintillating from the first ball as she trapped the batters with her swinging deliveries and repaid the trust shown in her by captain Harmanpreet Kaur.  Besides, Renuka, Priya Mishra also shone with the ball as she registered two scalps to her name.
