The Stars are still struggling in the tournament as they have won just one game out of the four they have played so far. Now that they have won their first match in the last game against Sydney Sixers, they will look to keep the momentum intact.

Captain Maxwell delivered a brilliant performance with the ball in the first innings of the game to restrict the Hurricanes to just 155 runs. He has been exceptional with the bowl throughout the years, whether it was for the national side or for Hurricanes now.

Now that his team needs 156 in 20 overs, Maxwell would not let this easy win go. This win will not just help the Stars move upward in the points table, but also motivate them for the upcoming games.

The eleventh over of the innings turned out to be an eventful one as Glenn Maxwell took the wickets of Caleb Jewell and Sam Hain and almost took Corey Anderson's wicket as well, but could not hold on to the catch as it was hit hard towards Maxwell.

In the very next over of his spell, Maxwell took the wicket of the dangerous Tim David, who just came in the middle. It was an ideal situation for Tim David and the one where he likes to bat, but today he could not provide a finishing touch to the Hobart Hurricanes. The rain has delayed the start of play, and it would not be helpful for the Stars if rain washes out the rest of the match.
