Veteran Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell continued his poor run in the ongoing Indian Premier League season, recording another single-digit score this evening. 

The swashbuckling right-hander, known for his power-hitting skills, let RCB down for yet another time, being dismissed for one in their ongoing IPL 2024 clash against Rajasthan Royals. 

The incident occurred in the 15th over of RCB's innings when RR skipper Sanju Samson brought Nandre Burger back into the attack to put the visitors under the pump. 

The move worked wonders for the home team, with the left-arm speedster dismissing Maxwell for a solitary run. 

After keeping things tight and conceding only three runs off his first three deliveries, Burger bowled a hard length delivery at searing pace.

Thus, the explosive Aussie cricketer registered yet another batting failure, going back to the dugout with disappointment written all over his face. 

However, despite losing partners at one end, legendary batter Virat Kohli is going strong in the high-voltage clash. 

The talismanic right-hander, who completed his third IPL 2024 fifty with a six, is racing towards a century, batting on 89* off just 59 balls, with RCB placed at 147 for two as of writing.
