Experienced Indian batter Virat Kohli got off to a dream start in Royal Challengers Bengaluru's ongoing IPL 2024 clash against Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh stadium in Jaipur. 

Hailed for his scintillating stroke play, Kohli went after RR's pace sensation, Nandre Burger, hitting him for two glorious boundaries in the second over. 

After Trent Boult kept things tight in the first over, Rajasthan Royals' captain Sanju Samson handed the ball to Nandre Burger, who has been impressive with the new ball in the powerplay. 

However, Kohli stunned the South African pacer with his aggressive batting, hitting him for two glorious boundaries to get going. 

Burger started the over on a positive note, bowling three dot balls on the trot. However, unfortunately for the Royals, the left-arm speedster faced Kohli's wrath, being dispatched for two boundaries in his next three balls. 

The Proteas pacer bowled a short-of-good-length delivery, which Kohli effortlessly sent to the cow corner boundary for a four. His sensational pull reminded fans of his long-time colleague, Rohit Sharma, who plays the shot quite well. 

The talismanic right-hander followed it up with another glorious shot, this time in front of the square with a tremendous flick shot. 

Riding on his fireworks, RCB have got off to a brisk start in the game, placed at 49 for none in 5.1 overs, with Kohli and Du Plessis batting on 31* and 12*, respectively.
