Scottish opener, George Munsey continued his dream T20 World Cup 2024 as he batted with grace and power to stun Australia in the ongoing contest.

Despite losing his opening partner in the opening over, Munsey decided to be at his attacking best as he took down the Aussie attack with some breath-taking shots. Be it pacers or spinners, the Scottish opener showed his array of shots to make the Australian bowlers feel helpless.

Munsey's switch-hit stuns Maxwell

He contributed 35 off 23 deliveries, and the highlight of his knock was the switch-hit to smack Glenn Maxwell, which reminded fans of David Warner. Maxwell bowled an off-break and Munsey decided to showcase his class with a brilliantly executed switch-hit.

He changed his stance and connected with the ball from the sweet spot of the bat as it went into the stands. The audacious hit stun Maxwell and the Australian side, as it reminded them of Warner, who is a master of playing such shots.

Munsey provided the platform as Brandon McMullen hammered a 34-ball 60, which helped the Scotland team post 180/5 on the board. A win for Scotland will seal their place in the Super-8, thus eliminating England.
