Rinku Singh may not have delivered with the bat, but his outstanding bowling performance was the highlight of India's third T20I match against Sri Lanka at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. 

Given a chance to bowl, Rinku scalped two crucial wickets in the same over, proving his worth as a part-time bowler.

During Sri Lanka's innings, India desperately needed a breakthrough. Rinku, a right-arm off-break bowler, was brought into the attack and immediately made an impact. In the 18th over, he removed Kusal Perera, who was batting on 46 runs. 

On the second ball, Rinku bowled a quicker, shorter delivery around leg. Perera, attempting a pull shot, got a top edge. Rinku moved swiftly to his left, kept his eyes on the ball, and took a safe catch off his own bowling. This dismissal brought a rare smile to head coach Gautam Gambhir's face.

Rinku Singh continued his impressive spell, and on the sixth ball of the same over, he removed Ramesh Mendis for just 3 runs. This time, Rinku's delivery left Mendis baffled, resulting in another crucial wicket for India. 

Despite Rinku's heroics, the match ended in a tie and proceeded to a super over.
