Riyan Parag Vents Out His Frustrations On Yashasvi Jaiswal

The intense competition of IPL often brings out the worst reactions from the players on the field. The same was witnessed during the KKR vs RR match. During the batting innings of the Kolkata Knight Riders, while the stand-in skipper of RR was bowling, the stump mic caught Riyan Parag abusing Yashasvi Jaiswal.

Parag bowled a full delivery at the off stump line that was played towards long-off by the KKR batter, Angkrish Raghuvanshi. Yashasvi Jaiswal, who was stationed in the deep collected the ball and made a lazy throw at the bowler's end. It was at this time that Parag was heard abusing the RR opener because of the lack of intent on the field.

Riyan Parag's Heroics Could Not Steer The Royals Home

Notably, in reply to Andre Russell's onslaught for KKR, it was Riyan Parag who fought like a lone warrior for the Rajasthan Royals in the game. The Knights after batting first posted a considerable total of 206 runs at the end of their 20 overs.

In the chase, the top order of the Royals tumbled under pressure and lost the plot. However, Riyan Parag stayed at one end and continued the fight. He hit six consecutive sixes, five of which came in one over against Moeen Ali and turned the momentum of the game towards his team. However, he fell after scoring 95 runs and failed to finish it off. In the end, KKR managed to hold their nerves and escape by a margin of just 1 run.
